Water Falls

Tallulah Falls
Take 441 south from Clayton, the falls can be viewed from Tallulah Gorge State Park. A trail running along the north side of the gorge affords an alternate perspective. The rocky gorge holds five more falls.

Minnehaha Falls
Take 441 south from Clayton, right on Lake Rabun Road, around the north side of the lake. Turn left about one mile past the Recreational Area, cross bridge and follow Bear Gap Road around the lake for 1.6 miles. Here, 1/2 mile trail leads to the falls.

Becky Branch Falls
Just minutes from downtown Clayton. Go east from Clayton on Warwoman Road to Warwoman Dell Recreation Area on the right. Walk upstream parallel to the stream on the trail that starts at the recreation area, crosses Warwoman Road and winds uphill for 200 yards to the base of the falls.

Panther Falls & Angel Falls
Also located in the Lake Rabun Beach Recreational Area. Turn right into area 2 and follow loop road to trailhead sign. This is an easy trail that follows Joe Branch north .6 miles to Panther, and 600 yards further to Angel.

Holcomb Creek Falls & Ammons Creek Falls
Are located in the Chattahoochie National Forest. Take Warwoman Road east from Clayton to Hale Ridge Road (FS7), follow to Overflow Road. Here, an easy trail leads first to the larger Holcomb, with the smaller Ammons several hundred yards beyond the Holcomb Bridge.

Martin Creek Falls
A series of small falls in the Chattahoochie National Forest. East of Clayton on Warwoman Road, a dirt road on the left at the Warwoman Wildlife Management Area takes you up a trail leading to the falls.

Dick's Creek Falls
A dramatic conclusion to this creek just before its waters merge with the Chattooga River. Take Warwoman Roadeast of Clayton to Dick's Creek Road (or Sandy Fork Road), and follow the trail to the creek and on to a viewing site at
the top of the falls.

Sawreek Falls
Take Old Highway 441 south from Clayton to the four-way stop in Tiger. Turn right, follow Bridge Creek Road about six miles, turn left into Covecrest Christian Renewal Center, past the Conference Center and Lodge. Turn left, take Falls Road to its end and follow trail 100-yards to the falls.
